What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? AGCC is organized as an association of persons having a common business interest within the meaning of section 501C (6) of the Internal Revenue Code whose purpose is to promote the common business interest and not to engage in a regular business of a kind ordinarily carried on for profit. Its activities are directed to the improvement of business conditions of one or more lines of business rather than the performance of particular services for individual persons.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 1) AGCC provided food and delivery to senior citizens. A total of 755 families were served and 5,070 boxes distributed. 2) AGCC organized African Small Business Expo and a total of 300 business owners attended and 5 Memorandum of Understanding signed. 3) Two Global and Africa Diaspora Investment Forums were organized alternatively in New York and Chicago. A total of 600 people attended and 20 business partnerships formed. 4) AGCC received Asian African Leadership Awards 2019. 5) AGCC received a resolution and recognition from Illinois Cook County Board President Toni Lynn Preckwinkle
