DURING THE LOCKDOWN WHEN NO ONE COULD WORK FUNDS WERE SENT FOR THE PURCHASE OF FOOD DISTRIBUTED TO MORE THAN 100 PEOPLE ALONG WITH MASKS, TEMPERATURE GUNS AND OTHER SUPPLIES. FUNDS ENABLED THEM TO PROVIDE HAND WASHING STATIONS IN THE COMMUNITIES. FUNDS FOR SUPPLIES TO MEET COVID-19 PROTOCOLS ENABLED THEM TO REOPEN THE SCHOOLS AND THE 21 CHURCHES THAT SERVE HUNDREDS ACROSS NORTHERN HAITI. |

EWI PROVIDES FUNDING FOR FULL TIME CARE OF THE 43 CHILDREN AND A LUNCH PROGRAM FOR THE 300 STUDENTS. WE PROVIDED FUNDS FOR THE PURCHASE AND DISTRIBUTION OF BIBLES TO ABOUT 50 PEOPLE. FUNDING SUPPORTED THE PURCHASE OF FOOD AND CLOTHING FOR 10 VULNERABLE ELDERLY. WE ALSO FUNDED THE PURCHASE OF DISINFECTANT, SANITIZER, TEMPERATURE GUNS, MASKS, AND HANDWASHING STATIONS TO ALLOW THEM TO REOPEN THE CHURCH AND THE SCHOOLS FOLLOWING COVID-19 PROTOCOLS. THEY ALSO PROVIDE VOCATIONAL TRAINING AT OFF-CAMPUS SITES IN RURAL AREAS. A 200 MONTHLY SALARY SUPPLEMENT WAS PROVIDED TO RETAIN A QUALIFIED LIBRARIAN, A REQUIREMENT FOR ACCREDITATION. FUNDS WERE SENT FOR THE PURCHASE OF 4 COMPUTERS AND FOR LIBRARY SHELVING AND OTHER SUPPLIES. FORTY-THREE PERSONS WERE CONFINED TO CAMPUS DURING THE LOCKDOWN DUE TO COVID-19. FUNDS WERE SENT TO PROVIDE FOOD AND OTHER ESSENTIALS AS NONE OF THEM HAD ANY INCOME DURING THAT TIME. WE ALSO PROVIDED FUNDING TO ALLOW FOR THE PURCHASE OF DISINFECTANTS, HAND SANITIZER, MASKS, TEMPERATURE GUNS AND OTHER PROTECTIVE GEAR TO ENABLE THEM TO MEET COVID-19 PROTOCOLS AND PREPARE THE CAMPUS FOR REOPENING. IN 2020 WE PROVIDED A 1000 SCHOLARSHIP FOR ONE STUDENT AND ADDITIONAL FUNDS TOWARD THE SCHOOLS SCHOLARSHIP FUND. WE ALSO RAISED FUNDS TOWARD THE PURCHASE OF A VEHICLE TO BE USED BY THE PRESIDENT. PARTNERSHIP WITH BETHEL MISSION AT KOLAR GOLD FIELDS IN INDIA: WE PROVIDED FUNDING IN SUPPORT OF THE MISSIONS 21-DAY PRAYER CAMPAIGN TO PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION AND FOOD FOR HUNDREDS. WE CONTRIBUTED TOWARD A FOOD DISTRIBUTION PROGRAM SERVING HUNDREDS DURING THE LOCKDOWN.
