What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE WAS ESTABLISHED FOR THE PURPOSES OF DEVELOPING, PROMOTING AND PROTECTING THE COMMERCIAL, PROFESSIONAL, FINANCIAL, BUSINESS, AGRICULTURE, EDUCATION AND LABORING INTEREST OF COCHRAN AND BLECKLEY COUNTY, GEORGIA, AND TO EXTEND AND PROMOTE TRADE AND COMMERCE IN THE AREA.

28 THE CHAMBER RECOGNIZED THE STAR STUDENT IN THE HIGH SCHOOL AND PRESENTS THE INDIVIDUAL WITH A SCHOLARSHIP TO THE LOCAL COLLEGE. THE CHAMBER PROMOTED THE LOCAL ECONOMY BY SPONSORING BIKING, COUNTY FEST, HOMETOWN HEROES, AND OTHER EVENTS.
