| Form 990-EZ, Part III, Line 28 | POLICY COVID-19 heavily impacted the activities of the company in 2020. The company was active in achieving their goal of influencing public policy for the benefit of their 905 members in the county. The board of directors generated an opinionnaire to distribute to all their members so they could voice their views on issues that are important to their members. These were distributed via email and paper versions are made available to members at the companys office. The results were tabulated, and policy was approved by members at their policy development meeting in June. The Annual Meeting was held by proxy due to COVID with 83 ballots returned by mail. |

The company purchased print and radio advertising throughout the year that promote livestock and row crop production as well as advocating for agriculture to the 16,150 residents of the county. This was a safe way to do promotions during a pandemic. The company also made donations to local charities to support the great need created by COVID-19 and to show the company cares about those in need of aid. |
