What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? PMI is the leading not-for-profit professional membership association for the project management profession. Our professional resources and research deliver value for more than 2.9 million professionals working in nearly every country in the world to enhance their careers, improve organizational success, an further mature the profession. Our worldwide advocacy for project management is reinforced by our globally recognized standards, certification program, extensive academic and market research programs, chapters, and our volunteer and professional development opportunities. PMI offers eight certifications that recognize knowledge and competency, including the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification help by more than 650,000 practitioners and growing worldwide. PMI offers PM training, and access to library and research on best practices in project management.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 In 2020, PMI provided training and certification to aspiring as well as seasoned professionals. We offered PMP Prep and ACP Prep courses. We organized training through dinner meetings, professional development and networking events where such topics as Agile, Servant Leadership, Risk Management and Soft Skills were discussed/trained. We helped locate and identify candidates for project management positions.
