	By forging collaborative relationships between the business community, non-profit organizations, and government, Business for a Better Portland (BBPDX)advocates for a Portland that is equitable and prosperous for all. BBPDX provides a platform for businesses in Portland, Oregon, to become educated on and discuss social and policy problems impacting their businesses, such as homelessness, transportation, and housing. Businesses affiliated with BBPDX believe that by engaging on social issues they will improve quality of life for Portlanders, which will in turn provide a stronger customer base for their businesses. BBPDX coordinates monthly policy focal points, such as housing, transportation, and homelessness, to facilitate collective action by affiliated businesses.

Members or stockholder classes and rights Part VI line 6	Members of Business for a Better Portland are companies, nonprofits and other organizations that support the mission of the organization to create shared prosperity in their community. Members are given education and civic engagement opportunities through events, workgroups and on-line calls to action.
