THE PROGRAM IS PRIMARILY SUPPORTED BY THE HEALTH RESOURCES & SERVICE ADMINISTRATION OF THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES. FOR MORE INFORMATION, VISIT HRSA.GOV. FINALLY, NAVAJO FAMILY VOICES BEGAN ITS KINSHIP CHILDCARE STIPEND PROJECT PARTNERED WITH THE NM EARLY CHILDCARE FUNDER GROUP. WE RECEIVED 375 APPLICATIONS AND AS OF DECEMBER 31, 2020 HAD GIVEN OUT STIPEND CHECKS TO 77 FAMILIES. SMALL TRUST LAND USER PROJECT (STLUP) THE STLUP PROVIDED ZOOM MEETINGS AND WEBINARS THROUGHOUT 2020, TEACHING ELDERS, COMMUNITY MEMBERS, AND LAWYERS ABOUT SPECIFIC LAND MANAGEMENT ISSUES ON THE RESERVATION. ICGS WAS APPROVED IN 2020 FOR A CON ALMA GRANT OF 10,000 TO PURSUE CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT FOR COMMUNITY EDUCATION IN LAND USE MANAGEMENT OPTIONS THAT EMPOWER COMMUNITIES.
