What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? To provide fellowship and service as outlined in Rotary International's core purpose: Service above self in all local communities and around the World.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Lincoln County Rotary Auction for Education Note: Expenses & income for this service program are absorbed in a related organization- Lincoln County Rotary Student Fund Inc. EID 56-2071604,a 501(c)(3). Auction manpower: no cost rotarians/volunteers. LCRSLF, Inc. (EID #56-2071604) was created to receive the funds generated through the annual auction events, pay related expenses, manage the lending process and maintain the loan portfolio. But it is the members of the two clubs and other volunteers that make the auction happen through untold hours of soliciting donations of funds or actionable goods as well as running the live and silent auction events. Since its inception, over 2000 loans totaling almost six million dollars have been made to almost 800 individual students.

29 34th Annual Lincolnton Rotary Apple Festival Road RaceEach year RCL sponsors the AFRR event, a key venue of the Fall Apple Festival sponsored by the City of Lincolnton and Lincoln County. The event is made up of a 5K race and a 1-mile fun walk/run. RCL members man the event staff and safety personnel roles. Registration fees, sponsorships and donations derived from the event fund several RCL community projects each year such as: three team sponsorships for the Lincolnton Optimist Club's sports program, a Lincolnton High School Interact Club scholarship (and possibly a grant to the Interact Club for a school/communityproject dependent on the funds raised each year) aswell as scholarships to Rotary District 7670's Rotary Youth Leadership Academy held each summer for high school rising seniors.

30 Christian Ministry of Lincoln County, Inc. Christmas FundWith help from local churches, businesses, social groups and individuals, Christian Ministry serves the communities in Lincoln County through five different ministries: individual/family emergency services, a soup kitchen providing a lunch daily to the needy, a nursing home ministry and it's Christmas Fund, which provides families in need with food, clothing and children's' gifts. Also many of our members volunteer their personal time and additional funds to Christian Ministry.

Other Program ServicesVolunteer and funds contributions are made to a variety of local charitable and community services organizations:RCL raised $903.00 for Rotary's CART fund devoted to underwriting of research to find a cure for Alzheimers. RCL acted as a conduit of $155.00 in donations to The Rotary Foundations general and PolioPlus funds. The PolioPlus donations are matche 2 to 1 by the Gates Foundation. The PolioPlus program goal is to permanently eradicate polio world wide...only two of the 206 countries in the world have reported any cases int he last two years.
