THE ORGANIZATION FURTHER FULFILLS ITS MISSION BY PARTNERING WITH OTHER GROUPS FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AND VOLUNTEER SUPPORT. THESE GROUPS INCLUDE THE CITY OF AKRON, COUNTY OF SUMMIT, FOUNDATIONS, BANKS AND OTHER BUSINESSES, CHURCH GROUPS, STUDENT GROUPS, FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IS PRIMARILY RECEIVED IN THE FORM OF GRANTS, CASH AND DONATED PROPERTIES. VOLUNTEERS OFTEN PERFORM THE FRONT END WORK THAT IS THE FIRST STEP IN STABILIZING NEIGHBORHOODS BY PREVENTING FURTHER DETERIORATION AND IMMEDIATELY IMPROVING EXTERIORS OF THESE ABANDONED HOUSES. THE ORGANIZATION IS AN ACTIVE PART OF THE COMMUNITY IN ADDITIONAL WAYS. THE UNIVERSITY OF AKRON, KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS, THE UNITED WAY OF SUMMIT COUNTY, LOCAL CHURCHES AND SCHOOLS, AND MANY OTHERS LOOK TO THIS ORGANIZATION FOR MEANINGFUL VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES. THE AKRON MARATHON AND THE AKRON AEROS (NOW THE RUBBER DUCKS) BASEBALL TEAM HAVE RELIED ON THIS ORGANIZATION TO PROVIDE VOLUNTEERS. NAZARETH'S CONTRACTORS SUBMIT FAIR BIDS AND OFTEN DONATE ADDITIONAL LABOR AND CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS. 3. OTHER GOODS: NAZARETH WORKS WITH LOCAL COMPANIES SUCH AS RG DIGITAL WHO PROVIDE WEB HOSTING SERVICES AT A GREATLY DISCOUNTED RATE AND OTHER NON- PROFITS, FOR INSTANCE EANDC, MUSTARD SEED DEV. CORP AND THE FINANCIAL EMPOWERMENT CENTER, WHICH PROVIDE BUDGET AND CREDIT COUNSELING TO OUR CLIENTS. TECHSOUP, A NATIONAL NON-PROFIT, PROVIDES DISCOUNTS ON HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE THAT KEEP THE ORGANIZATION TECHNOLOGICALLY SAVVY. THE CATHOLIC DIOCESE PROVIDES DEEPLY DISCOUNTED AND COMMUNITY FRIENDLY OFFICE SPACE IN ONE OF OUR PREFERRED NEIGHBORHOOLDS. PROFESSIONAL SERVICES: REAL ESTATE AGENTS AND BROKERS ROUTINELY GRANT A DISCOUNT IN THEIR FEES, IN HONOR OF SERVING OUR MISSION.
