IRS - Department of Treasury Date: September 9, 2021 RE: Notice CP259A (June 2021) & LTR2694C Employer ID: 42-0469525 Notice Date: August 18, 2021 To whom it my concern: We originally received notice CP259A (June 2021) stating that our 990 for tax year ending August 31, 2020 was not received by the IRS. Our 990 was completed, signed on January 10, 2021 and mailed that following week via USPS to the Internal Revenue Service - Ogden, Utah. Upon receipt of that notice, we made the assumption that the 990 was lost in transit so we subsequently mailed another copy of that 990 on/around July 6th, 2021. This copy was also missing Schedule O, and as such we now know it will not/would not be accepted by the IRS. On September 7th, 2021, we received another IRS notice, this time for the original 990 that was sent in January (date stamped as received on January 19, 2021) and also stating that we did not provide Schedule O, and as such our 990 could not be accepted. The omission of Schedule O was our oversight, and we are working to promptly remedy that error. We are providing an updated 990 with Schedule O, postmarked on September 10th, 2021. Please accept this response and we ask that any/all potential fines for late filing be waived as we promptly responded to both the original June notice as well as this more recent notice.
