I was unaware of the requirement to file the 990 electronically. I originally filed the 990 by paper on 3/5/21. It was received 3/12/21. I thought I was good. Then, on 11/10/21, I received a letter that you didn't have my 990, so I made copies and mailed it to you again. Thought I was good. Then, on 11/20/21, I received the original 990 I had filed back and was told that I had to resubmit electronically. I am resubmitting electronically today, 11/22/21, to avoid penalties. I don't feel I should be charged any penalties because I submitted it timely. I just didn't realize it had to be done electronically. I appreciate your help and understanding in this matter.
