What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The mission of the organization is to act as a sanctioning body for 1000 yard shooting and the encouragement of organized rifle shooting among residents of the United States. The goal is to provide a view towards and knowledge of improved marksmanship and the safe handling and proper care of firearms. The mission should be recognized further as a development of characteristics namely; honesty, good fellowship, self-discipline, team play, and self-reliance, which are essential of good sportsmanship and the foundation of true patriotism.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 There are ten light gun competitions held annually to promote the benchrest club's primary exempt purpose for shooters with guns 17 pounds or less. There are ten heavy gun competitions held annually to promote the benchrest club's primary exempt purpose for shooters with guns of any weight.
