The mission of AAUW is to advance equity, education, and research for women and girls. AAUW Dallas TX Branch works to carry out this mission locally, joining with AAUW branches and organizations across the state and nation. AAUW Dallas TX Branch awards scholarships in the community based on need and scholastic and community achievement.

(1) Scholarships are given to deserving students in the Dallas ISD, who have been interviewed and selected by the organization's scholarship committee. High school graduates receive $3,000/student, and that amount is sent to the university after enrollment is documented.
