What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? ASAP serves as a professional network for its members and a specialized community dedicated to advocacy for adolescent mental health, and the education and development of mental health professionals who serve adolescents and young adults. It provides services and information (i.e. annual meeting, board certification, journal, newsletter, etc).
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Annual Meeting: Registration fee for members is discounted; information is provided regarding pertinent issues related to adolescent psychiatry of interest to medical professionals; and open to any medical professionals interested in attending but focuses on the needs/interests of the membership. Attendance is generally between 50-75.
