	The Can Manufacturers Institute, Inc. (CMI), a 501 (c) (6) business league, is the national trade association representing the can manufacturing industry and its suppliers. Its purpose is to serve a nexus of its members' interests and represent those interests in relevant forums. CMI currently has over 115 members, both foreign and domestic. CMI represents its members in a variety of arenas, including state and federal regulatory and legislative policies and issues, as well as providing technical, marketing, statistical and recycling programming support.
