The Association (PACA) sold its headquarters land and buildings on the open market. Shortly after filing this return, PACA will petition the Massachusetts Superior Court (Court) for authority to dissolve and distribute its remaining assets to its membership. Upon Court approval, PACA will distribute all remaining assets to a Dissolution Trust as a Capital Gains Distribution for further distribution to its membership. On behalf of its members the Dissolution Trust will make estimated tax payments - 15% Federal and 5% Massachusetts. Each member will receive a K-1 from the Trust detailing their Capital Gain Income and estimated tax payments.
