ALC's Unconference is a participant-driven meeting that provides thought-provoking discussions about the issues that are top-of-mind. About 70 participants engage in moderated discussions across 1-5 days.

Form 990 Part VI Section A Line 3	ALC was managed by Stringfellow Management Group (SMG) and Talley Management Group. At the conclusion of 2020, the ALC's address and headquarters was located at 19 Mantua Rd. Mount Royal, NJ. All regular ALC staff members were employees of SMG or Talley Management Group and were provided to ALC on an as-needed basis. ALC had contracts that defined the responsibilities of the management firm. A management fee was negotiated that covered the cost of the alc chief executive officer, support staff, office equipment, and office space.
Form 990 Part VI Section A Line 6	ALC's bylaws provide for five classes of membership: (1) founding, (2) active, (3) charter, (4) affiliate, and (5) industry partners. Founding, active, and charter members shall have full voting rights and the right for their representatives to serve on committees and as officers and directors of the Association. Affiliate members shall have no voting privileges but shall have the right for their representatives to serve on committees and as officers and directors of the Association. Industry partners shall have no voting privileges. All members shall have rights and benefits as may be established by the Board of Directors.
Form 990 Part VI Section A Line 7A	Members of the Board of Directors are elected at the Annual Meeting of the Association by a majority vote of those members present.
Form 990 Part VI Section A Line 7B	Each founding, active, and charter member in good standing is entitled to one vote. Votes must be cast in person by those members in attendance. Proxy votes are not permitted.
Form 990 Part VI Section B Line 11B	A copy of the 990 is given to the executive director for review before filing. He/she reviews it with the Treasurer and makes it available to all directors before filing.
Form 990 Part VI Section B Line 12C	The management company employs the executive director for the Association. the fees to the management company are established annually after a thorough budget process is conducted and approved by the board.
