What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The Screaming Eagles are a group who are designed to build, foster, and grow support of Soccer in the United States by supporting both D.C. United and the US National Soccer Teams. The organization assists the community with community service projects aimed at growing the sport while particularly focusing on underprivileged communities in the Greater Washington, DC area. Also, the group organizes match tickets, tailgates, road trips, and in stadium activities to enhance support for the sport.

Explanation:
The time of year we would normally file our tax extension coincided with the lifting of COVID restrictions. Our organization works on the time of a few volunteers, who were focused on negotiating with vendors and figuring out how to adjust our operations that had been dormant for over a year. Because of these resource constraints, we failed to file an extension request timely. We hope to have the penalty waived due to our history of timely filings and reasonable cause for delay.
