Other	Part III, Line 28 - Policy - The organization values the opinions of members on all issues related to agriculture. Each fall members are asked for input on the topics the organization should be working on to support agriculture. Members are then given an opportunity to view all issues statewide and indicate which issues they see as a priority. Membership is asked for opinions on issues that are important to them in a March survey. The Board of Directors uses this information to come up with policy for the organization. We presented our policy at the organization annual meeting which was held virtually in September due to the pandemic. A delegate for the organization presented the issues by email and our delegate voted on them at the state policy conference.
Other	Part III, Line 29 - Education - Plymouth County Farm Bureau is a major supporter of the county fair. FFA and 4H groups promote youth development and the organization helps promote this through donations and participation. The organization is helping to promote future leaders in agriculture. The board of directors annually donates to the county food pantries and toy drive to support those in need. Literacy is important and the organization donated books on agriculture to all grade schools and libraries in the county. Scholarships are provided to students advancing their education. Schools are supported through recognition of sports teams. In 2020 the organization presented balls and memorabilia to high schools in the county that qualified for state tournaments.
Other	Part III, Line 30 - Promotion - Each year the organization provides an opportunity for Young Farmers to develop their leadership and social skills in a variety of ways. Members were sponsored by the organization to attend the State YF conference in Des Moines. We usually provide activities at the county fair for RF's to network and help with fair contest. We also encourage YFs to be part of the organization board of directors. This gives them the opportunity to voice their opinions and develop as future leaders in the county. Proceeds designated for the Annual Meeting were redistributed to area fire departments for COVID supplies.
