Briefly describe the organization’s mission: Greater Baltimore Committee, Inc. is a not-for-profit, civic-interest corporation comprised of business and professional organizations located within the Greater Baltimore Area. Its purpose is to provide a strong, unified and effective voice for the business community in the functional area of urban affairs and public policy, business services and information, and economic development thereby promoting the Baltimore Region as an outstanding place to live, work and do business.

Part V, Line 4:	GBC's long-term investment fund consists of a fund established by its board of directors to ensure future stability and capacity to provide services to its members.
Part X, Line 2:	GBC is a nonprofit organization exempt from the Federal income tax under Section 501(c)(4) of the Internal Revenue Code and is recognized as such by the Internal Revenue Service, except for unrelated business income. Accounting principles generally accepted in the United States of America provide consistent guidance for the accounting for uncertainty in income taxes recognized in an entity's financial statements and prescribe a threshold of "more likely than not" for recognition of tax positions taken or expected to be taken in a tax return. GBC performed an evaluation of uncertain tax positions as of December 31, 2020, and determined that there were no matters that would require recognition in the accompanying financial statements or which may have any effect on its tax-exempt status. As of December 31, 2020, the statute of limitations for fiscal years 2017 through 2020 remains open with the U.S. Federal jurisdiction or the various states and local jurisdictions in which GBC files tax returns. It is GBC's policy to recognize interest and/or penalties related to uncertain tax positions, if any, in income tax expense.

Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 2	GBC board members are presidents and CEOs of local businesses in the Baltimore community, relationships are inevitable due to the businesses operating in the same community.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 6	The organization has one governing body, the Board of Directors, who is responsible for the governance of the organization. The Board of Directors represent the members of the organization. Nominated board members are presented for member approval at GBC's annual meeting. Once approved, the individuals who sit on the board's sole right is to participate in the organization's governance.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 7a	Yes, the organization has members who may elect one or more members of the governing body. A slate of nominated board members are presented for member approval at GBC's annual meeting in May.
