What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The club is a recreational and social organization whose purposes are 100% of the time: The encouragement of personal contacts commingling and fellowship between members through a common interest in Porsche GT cars and safety in driving them on track and on mountain roads; Gathering socially to share driving experiences and knowledge; Encouraging members to maintain and improve their driving skills; Sharing the cost of a track rental day and accommodations for the gatherings between members; and Sharing a common bond of giving back to local and national charities through certain activities that occur during the spring gathering. All the club activities are recreational and social in nature and will continue in that manner and as such advance its tax-exempt purpose. Only members of the club and their invited guests and family members may participate in its activities and gatherings. Please note COVID-19 impacted our ability to hold the function in 2020.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 The members gather for a spring gathering to drive their cars on track and organized mountain drives. During the spring gathering club activities include group dinners and car related activities such as driving on a rented track and participating in organized mountain drives. In addition rides may be provided to charity guests and the Club may choose to hold an auction hosted by a local and or national charity. Members take the evening activity and dinner times to get associated with new and old members alike and exchange information related to obtaining driving and tracking Porsche GT cars. All the fees are covered with the assessment charged to participate in the trip. Please note - COVID-19 impacted the ability of the group to hold the function in 2020.
