THE FOUNDATION RECOGNIZES THE FINANCIAL STATEMENT BENEFIT OF TAX POSITIONS, SUCH AS ITS FILING STATUS AS TAX-EXEMPT, ONLY AFTER DETERMINING THAT THE RELEVANT TAX AUTHORITY WOULD MORE LIKELY THAN NOT SUSTAIN THE POSITION FOLLOWING AN AUDIT. THE FOUNDATION IS SUBJECT TO POTENTIAL INCOME TAX AUDITS ON OPEN TAX YEARS BY ANY TAXING JURISDICTION IN WHICH IT OPERATES.
