Explanation:

The Executive officers for the American Legion Post 89 changed mid-year of 2020, and the past finance officer did not notify the new current finance officer of the latest filing process. Therefore, the original 990 was mailed in and received on April 19, 2021; however, it took seven months the get the 990 returned by mail with notification of the new process.
