What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? THIS IS LOCAL UNION HEA146. WE ARE THE UNION FOR TEACHERS AT HOPKINS PUBLIC SCHOOLS. OUR TAX ID IS 23-7125430. MY NAME IS DIANNE JOHANSON AND I SERVE AS THE TREASURER.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Like any local union, HEA 146 provides contractual support to its members, negotiators who work directly with HR and the districts' leaders to embetter our contract. Our union supports over 500 members, ranging from full time to part time staff. Our student population in the district is over 12,000. Hopkins Public Schools is a public school district serving preK - students of age 21 who reside in Minnetonka, Hopkins, Eden Prairie, Golden Valley and Plymouth. Our student body is diverse in socio economic and diverse ethnicity. HEA 146 ratified a superior contract for its members, including a pay raise of 3%, better insurance plans to choose from, more mental health staff and support systems in all buildings.
