Part VI, Line 7a	The Lodge has members elected officers as directed by the Grand Lodge Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks USA. The Lodge enjoys the privilege of its existence only because it is chartered as a Lodge of Grand Lodge the parent organization. Every Officer and Member is obligated to obey the Statutes rules and regulations of the Order.
Part VI, Line 7b	The organization is chartered as a Lodge of the Grand Lodge the parent organization of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks USA. The Grand Lodge can add rescind or modify the Laws of Order which would apply to all Lodges but the local Lodge maintains autonomy of management.
