Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b	A draft copy of Form 990, and attached schedules, are presented to Board of Directors members ahead of the board meeting preceding the actual filing of the return. Board members review the Form 990 and attachments, and the document is open for questions and discussion at the meeting preceding the electronic filing of the return. A motion to accept the Form 990 for filing is made, seconded, and approved for filing by the Board.
Form 990, Part III, Line 3	Annual Professional Development Conference that provides professional development and networking opportunities for members and attendees. For the second year, the 2021/2022 Convention content was presented as a virtual participant format in consideration of safe COVID practices. Accordingly, registration revenue and related meeting expenses declined compared to prior years.
Form 990, Part III, Line 3	Membership revenue declined significantly during FY 2022. This is correlated to the changes in the Annual Professional Development Convention driven by a response to Covid safety precautions as discussed above. The Board is anticipating a return to a personal contact / networking opportunity convention for FY 2023 which should drive an improved revenue base for building on and continuing professional development opportunities for members of the NJ Nursing profession.
