What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Anderson Police Officers Association exists to advance the professional, educational, economic and social welfare of its members by establishing a permanent organization for the benefit of all personnel of the Anderson Police Department, and raise funds for service groups, organizations and activities that benefit the citizens and community of Anderson, California.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 The Anderson Police Officers Association has meetings every two months to go over spending, charitable donations, and proposed activities. The collective bargaining unit represents the Association and bargains on behalf of the Association for wages, working conditions, and other member contract conditions. The expenses for these are in the form of legal representation costs from outside legal defense firms.
