Briefly describe the organization’s mission: The Hyder Community Association HCA exists for the betterment of the Community of Hyder Alaska. We operate a community building which houses a library fire hall meeting room Association Office USFS Office and exercise room. We maiantain 13 mile of road for the State of Alaska and provide road maintenance and snow removal on the side streets and driveways. We operate a small landfill and burn unit for trash.

	Hyder Dept. of Transportation The Hyder DOT provides road maitenance and snow removal throughout the Hyder townsite for 100 residents and 40000 seasonal visitors. We maintain 13 miles of road under contract to the State f AK. Winter snow removal is a critical service we provide in an environment that can receive 20' of snow. The above expenses include labor fuel equipment repair shop occupancy and equipment rental.

	Hyder Community Building and Central Services The Hyder Community Building houses our community meeting room fire hall exercise room and an office rental to the USFS. The grounds include parking a sport court and youth playground. The building serves 100 residents and 40,000 seasonal visitors.

	This grant program was a carry over from FY21 where we received $75,000. The expenses include the addition payroll and payroll taxes for additional custodial services for cleaning and sanitizing providing health and safety supplies and the testing and tracing of the public arriving to Hyder. Included in the total expenses is $26,510.61 returned as part of the grant closeout. All funds had to be spent by 12 31 21. There were no grant funds received in 21 22

Part VI, Line 2	Our Directors Diana Simpson and Caroline Stewart are "sisters inlaw"
Part VI, Line 6	Our Association has members who make up the General Membership. Members must be 18 years old a US citizen and reside in Hyder. There are approximately 4 General Membership meeting per year.
Part VI, Line 7a	In February of each year a General Membership meeting is held to elect directors for a two year term. The Board of Directors of our Association consist of 7 directors.
Part VI, Line 7b	Other than electing the Board of Directors the Membership votes on an annual budget and the acceptance of new grant programs.
Part VI, Line 11b	On Oct 18 2022 the HCA Board of Directors met and reviewed the form 990 for our FY 21 22. The public meeting was noticed on10 08 22 pursuant to the HCA bylaws. Each Board member received a packet which included for 990 . The HCA Board Meetings are open to the public.
Part VI, Line 12c	Annually at the seating of Directors and the selection of Officers the President reviews the conflict of interest policy with the Board. Enforcement is the responsibility of the President.
Part VI, Line 15	Our President Vice President Secretary and Treasurer and Directors are all unpaid. Our office clerk DOT foreman and equipment operators are all paid based on online survey of similar positions in Alaska. The wage ranges from $22 to $25 dollar per hour.
Part VI, Line 19	The Secretary of the HCA is custodian of the corporate files. All policies and financial information is available for inspection by the public during regular office hours. Our office is open 20 hours per week.
