THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES FREE ONLINE LANGUAGE LEARNING RESOURCES TO INDIGENOUS AND MINORITIZED COMMUNITIES. THE PROGRAM IS PROVIDED AT NO CHARGE AND IS AVAILABLE TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY, THROUGH PARTNERSHIPS WITH TRIBAL NATIONS AND OTHER CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS. THERE ARE NO INDIVIDUAL BENEFICIARIES IDENTIFIED. 7000 LANGUAGES DOES NOT DISCRIMINATE AGAINST THE BENEFICIARIES AND SERVES OVER 16,000 INDIVIDUALS WHO ACCESS THESE ONLINE LANGUAGE COURSES AT NO CHARGE. THE ORGANIZATION REGULARLY PROVIDES THESE SERVICES AND GROWS OUR NUMBER OF COMMUNITIES SERVED EACH YEAR. IN 2019 WE CREATED 6 NEW COURSES, IN 2020 WE CREATED 9 NEW COURSES AND IN 2022 WE ARE SCHEDULED TO CREATE 12 NEW COURSES FOR THE COMMUNITIES WE SERVE. THE ORGANIZATION MAINTAINS STAFF MEMBERS WHO ONLY OFFER PROGRAMMATIC SERVICES AND SUPPORT. THESE CHARITABLE SERVICES DELIVERED TO CHARITABLE CLASSES ARE A KEY FUNCTION OF THE ORGANIZATION. THE ORGANIZATION IS RUN BY AN INDEPENDENT GOVERNING BODY, A BOARD OF DIRECTORS THAT BRING IN A DIVERSE SET OF SKILLS AND EXPERTISE FROM ALL OVER THE UNITED STATES. THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS IS ACTIVELY GROWING AND SEEKING NEW, INDEPENDENT INDIVIDUALS, THAT REPRESENT THE COMMUNITIES WE SERVE. IN 2020, SHEILA BONG, A BLACKFEET TRIBAL NATION CITIZEN JOINED THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS. IN 2021 X'UNEI LANCE TWITCHELL, M.F.A., PH.D., A PROFESSOR OF ALASKA NATIVE LANGUAGES JOINED THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS. IN 2022, WE ADDED TWO ADDITIONAL BOARD MEMBERS THAT REPRESENT THE DIVERSE COMMUNITIES WE SERVE. THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS IS ACTIVE AND MEETS UP TO 10 TIMES PER YEAR TO FOCUS ON STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT OF THE GOVERNING BODY AS WELL AS STRATEGIC FUNDRAISING EFFORTS TO BRING MORE PUBLIC SUPPORTERS TO 7000 LANGUAGES. 7000 LANGUAGES IS ENGAGED IN REGULAR FUNDRAISING INITIATIVES AND HAS INCREASED PUBLIC SUPPORT OVER THE YEARS, BOTH IN TERMS OF THE NUMBER OF INDEPENDENT INDIVIDUALS GIVING FINANCIALLY TO THE ORGANIZATION, AS WELL AS THE PERCENTAGE OF OUR SUPPORT THAT COMES FROM THE PUBLIC. IN 2020, 24.46% OF DONATIONS WERE RECEIVED BY PUBLIC SUPPORT (21 TOTAL INDIVIDUALS) AND WE INCREASED THAT PERCENTAGE IN 2021 TO 28.25% (26 TOTAL INDIVIDUALS). IN 2022, THE ORGANIZATION WAS AWARDED THREE GRANTS FROM FOUNDATIONS (AMB FOUNDATION, F5 FOUNDATION, ESPERANTIC STUDIES FOUNDATION). ADDITIONALLY, EACH YEAR 7000 LANGUAGES RECEIVES SIZABLE SUPPORT IN THE FORM OF IN-KIND DONATIONS FROM TRANSPARENT LANGUAGE, VALUED AT $150,000. THE ORGANIZATION CONTINUES TO SOLICIT DONATIONS AND GRANTS THROUGH REGULAR AND STRATEGIC FUNDRAISING EFFORTS.THE ORGANIZATION IS ENGAGED IN SEVERAL EFFORTS TO ACTIVELY GROW AND DEVELOP THE DONOR BASE, AND PUBLIC SUPPORTERS. SINCE 2020, 7000 LANGUAGES HAS DEVELOPED THREE ANNUAL FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGNS WHERE DONORS ARE SOLICITED VIA EMAIL NEWSLETTERS AND SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGNS. EACH YEAR, THE ORGANIZATION HAS SEEN GROWTH IN THE NUMBER OF INDIVIDUALS AND TOTAL AMOUNT RAISED. THE WEBSITE FOR 7000 LANGUAGES (WWW.7000.ORG) PROMINENTLY PLACES AREAS WHERE INDIVIDUALS CAN SUPPORT THE ORGANIZATION, SUCH AS A "SUPPORT US" TAB AND A "POP-UP" ON THE HOMEPAGE, AND A DONATION APPEAL ON EACH INDIVIDUAL LANGUAGE PAGE. IN TOTAL, THERE ARE 28 PLACES ON THE WEBSITE THAT REQUEST SUPPORT FOR THE PUBLIC TO SUPPORT OUR SERVICES. IN 2022, 7000 LANGUAGES LAUNCHED A NEW MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM TO SOLICIT ADDITIONAL DONORS BY PROVIDING MEANINGFUL BENEFITS. 7000 LANGUAGES CONTINUES TO REGULARLY DEVELOP OUR BASE OF PUBLIC SUPPORTERS.
