The goal is to develop business for members of the association and be a primary funding source for association operations. The event continues to produce a consistent profit for the association.

Part X : FIN48 Footnote

Under provisions of Section 501(c)(6) of the Internal Revenue Code, the Association is exempt from federal income taxes, except for net income from unrelated business activities. Certain revenues are considered unrelated business income by the Internal Revenue Service and are, therefore, subject to taxation after deducting allocable expenses. No income taxes were paid in 2021 or 2020.Management evaluated the Association's tax positions and concluded that the Association had taken no uncertain tax positions that require adjustments to the financial statements. The Association's tax returns are subject to review and examination by federal authorities.
