| FOR 11 YEARS THE SAVANNAH AREA CHAMBER FOUNDATION, INC. BENEFITED FROM INCOME AS A RESULT OF THE PGA'S LIBERTY MUTUAL LEGENDS OF GOLF TOURNAMENT. THAT INCOME WAS DONATED TO A WIDE VARIETY OF CHARITIES WITH PROGRAMS BENEFITING THE SAVANNAH AREA COMMUNITY AS A WHOLE. THIS EVENT ENDED IN SAVANNAH IN 2015, AS DID THE ASSOCIATED CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTIONS THE FOUNDATION RECEIVED. THE COVID PANDEMIC HAD A SIGNIFICANT NEGATIVE IMPACT ON THE FOUNDATION'S CONTRIBUTIONS AND OTHER REVENUES IN 2020. COVID AND THE DELTA VARIANT IN 2020 AND MUCH OF 2021, CHANGED OR ELIMINATED MANY OF OUR BUSINESS AND COMMUNITY PROGRAMS RESULTING IN A SIGNIFICANT REDUCTION IN CONTRIBUTIONS FOR THE FOUNDATION, THUS LOWERING OUR 5-YEAR AVERAGE. LEADERSHIP SAVANNAH, A BROAD-BASED COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP TRAINING PROGRAM, WAS POSTPONED FOR MUCH OF 2020, RESULTING IN STARTING THE NEXT CLASS IN FEBRUARY OF 2021. THIS ELIMINATED THE INCOME FOR THE NEW CLASS THAT WOULD HAVE HIT THE 2020 FOUNDATION FINANCIALS AND MOVED IT INTO 2021. THIS CHANGE IN SCHEDULE WILL NOW CARRYFORWARD WITH THE PROGRAM, TAKING INCOME IN THE FIRST QUARTER EACH YEAR RATHER THAN THE 3RD QUARTER. FUNDRAISING RELATED TO THIS INITIATIVE INCREASED IN 2021 OVER PRIOR YEARS. WE EXPECT AN INCREASE IN CONTRIBUTIONS TO THIS INITIATIVE IN FUTURE YEARS AS WELL. MANY SMALL BUSINESS PROGRAMS WERE ALSO POSTPONED IN 2020 AND 2021, BUT HAVE RESUMED IN 2022. PLANS FOR 2023 INCLUDE INCLUDE ANOTHER BROAD COMMUNITY FUNDRAISING EVENT FOR THE FOUNDATION, THE ANNUAL WINE & DINE EXTRAVAGANZA. THIS EVENT WILL BE A GREAT NEW OPPORTUNITY FOR THE FOUNDATION TO RAISE AWARENESS TO THE COMMUNITY AND INCREASE ITS PUBLIC SUPPORT. IN SUMMARY, AS A RESULT OF THE MASSIVE BUSINESS INTERRUPTIONS FROM THE COVID PANDEMIC, THE SAVANNAH AREA CHAMBER FOUNDATION, INC. LOST A VARIETY OF REVENUE SOURCES THAT RESULTED IN IN DIMINISHING CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTIONS. IN LATE 2021, THE FOUNDATION BEGAN THE RESTORATION OF THESE SOURCES OF CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTIONS ALONG WITH ADDING NEW SOURCES. WE HAVE PRIORITIZED REBUILDING OUR PUBLIC SUPPORT PERCENTAGE TO THE REQUIRED THRESHOLD THROUGHOUT THE NEXT FEW YEARS, THOUGH WE EXPECT IT TO TAKE TIME. THE CURRENT YEAR (2021) STAND ALONE PUBLIC SUPPORT RATIO IS CALCULATED AT 26.27% (90,683 / 345,184). THIS PERCENTAGE IS A SIZEABLE IMPROVEMENT OVER THE PRIOR YEAR 5 YEAR AVERAGE OF 19.29%, ILLUSTRATING THE POSITIVE MOMENTUM OUR EFFORTS HAVE GENERATED. |

THAT EVENT ENDED IN SAVANNAH IN 2015, AS DID THE ASSOCIATED CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTIONS THE FOUNDATION RECEIVED. THE PGA IN 2021 NOW CONDUCTS THE CLUB CAR CHAMPIONSHIP FOR THE KORN FERRY TOURNAMENT. FOR 2021 IT IS ANTICIPATED SOME CHARITABLE FUNDS WILL FLOW THROUGH THE FOUNDATION AND MAY GROW IN THE FUTURE DEPENDING ON COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION AND SUPPORT. THE COVID PANDEMIC HAD A SIGNIFICANT NEGATIVE IMPACT ON THE FOUNDATION'S CONTRIBUTIONS AND OTHER REVENUES IN 2020. THE 2020 COVID INTERRUPTIONS ALSO CANCELED MILITARY PROGRAMS RESULTING IN NONE OF THAT NORMAL INCOME BEING REALIZED IN 2020. AS OF OCTOBER 2021, THOSE PROGRAMS AND THEIR CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE FOUNDATION HAVE RESUMED, THOUGH WITH SMALLER TOTAL CONTRIBUTIONS AS WE COME OUT OF THE DELTA VARIANT'S EFFECTS. MANY SMALL BUSINESS PROGRAMS, SUCH AS THE ANNUAL AWARDS BANQUET EVENT WERE ALSO POSTPONED IN 2020 AND 2021, AND WILL RESUME IN EARLY 2022. PLANS FOR 2022 INCLUDE ANOTHER BROAD COMMUNITY FUNDRAISING EVENT FOR THE FOUNDATION, THE ANNUAL WINE & DINE EXTRAVAGANZA. COMPLETED IN MARCH 2014, THE STUDY WAS CONDUCTED TO DEVELOP AN ACCURATE ASSESSMENT OF CURRENT CONDITIONS IN THE CHATHAM COUNTY LABOR MARKET. THE STUDY SHOWED THAT 61 ORGANIZATIONS IN CHATHAM COUNTY OFFER 221 WORKFORCE PROGRAMS, WITH SAVANNAH TECHNICAL COLLEGE PROVIDING 63% OF THEM.
