	American Legion Boys State is a unique summertime educational program for rising high school seniors that focuses on participation and personal experience in a model state, complete with governmental bodies and elected public officials. It is designed to mirror the structure and operation of its respective state government, while providing training in practical citizenship, leadership and character development through a non-partisan perspective.

	The main purpose of the American Legion High School Oratorical Scholarship Program is to develop a deeper knowledge and appreciation of the U.S. Constitution among students. Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7a	The Post Commander has the authority to fill vacancies in the Board of Directors till the next monthly meeting.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7b	The Board of Directors have the authority to authorize payment of bills and requests for donations that have been authorized by the Membership at a previous monthly membership meeting. New donation requests must be presented to the next monthly meeting to see if there is enough members interested in spending money in this new area.

ORIGINALLY FILED A 990-EZ, FORM 990 ONLINE WOULD NOT ACCEPT AS IT AS THE CALCULATED AMOUNT WAS OVER THE LIMIT AND IT NEEDED TO BE PUT ON A FULL 990. I HAVE NEVER DONE A 990, SO I TURNED IT OVER TO A MEMBER THAT WAS AN ACCOUNTANT TO SEE IF HE COULD REFORMAT IT FAST THAN I WAS DOING AFTER TWO MONTHS. HE WAS STILL WORKING ON IT PART-TIME AFTER FIVE MONTHS WHEN I FINISHED THE REFORMAT, GOT THE NEW COMMANDER TO SIGN OFF AND STARTED PUTING IT IN FORM 990 ONLINE TO SEND IT IN. NOW I NEED TO CORRECT THE PAPER COPIES TO SEND TO THE SECRETARY OF STATE AS I KEPT THE FRACTIONS OF THE DOLLAR AND NEEDED TO DO SOME ADJUSTINGS.
