What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Upheld the contract language to benefit approximately 122 members. Worked with administration as the District navigated Covid 19 guidelines as they pertained to school closure and remote learning.

28 The West Frankfort Federation of Teachers, Local #817 is a non-profit labor organization that represents certified employees of West Frankfort CUSD #168 through collective bargaining. The organization promotes high professional standards of obtaining adequate salaries and working conditions for it members and promotes the participation of certified staff and administration of the schools. The organization works to raise standards of the education profession by securing the conditions essential to the best professional service.
