	One of our largest single grant areas was the Heart 2 Heart program which is a collaborative partnership between 27 districts in the US and two districts in central Mexico to provide humanitarian service, primarily through Rotary Global Grants. Examples of these grants include Kidney transplants, pacemakers, basic learning skills workshops, neurological center equipment, cleft lip and palate surgery equipment, low cost shelters, positive peace training and development, school renovations and purchase of wheelchairs.

	Youth Interact Conference: Interact is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young people ages 12-18. The program gives its members (Interactors) an opportunity to participate in meaningful service projects while developing leadership skils, meeting new friends and having fun. The conference is the highlight of the year and a time for clubs to come together and celebrate the accomplishment of Interact objectives such as: Encourage and practice thoughtfulness and helpfulness to others Create an awareness of the importance of home and family Build respect for the rights of others based on recognition of the worth of each individual Emphasize acceptance of individual responsibility as the basis of personal success, community improvement & group achievement Open avenues of personal and group action leading to the advancement of international understanding and goodwill of all peoples Recognize and develop constructive leadership and personal integrity

	District 6780 Conference and Golf Tournament: Each Rotary District holds an annual District Conference which consists of the annual business meeting and other sessions. The conference is designed to inspire and inform Rotarians at the District level, while advancing the strategic goals of Rotary International, the District and the Rotary Foundation. The silent auction held at the District Conference, along with the District Golf Tournament, raise funds for the Rotary Foundation's Polio Plus Mission of eradicating Polio, Together these 2 events raised $15,670 for this cause.

	Programs which support our youth, included Youth Exchange to foreign countries, Rotary Leadership Awards, College Scholarships totaled $30,322. In addition, we sent $11,000 in grant funds to Rotary Clubs to help people in areas that suffered major tornado and flood damage in Kentucky and Tennessee. The total amount of these two grant areas was $41,322. The balance of the program expenses were for training, expenses of the District Governor for making inspirational visits to various clubs, and other committee expenses.

Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 6	Rotary District 6780 has 64 Rotary Clubs, each of which has members. Altogether, we have approximately 3,000 members.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7a	The District Governor of District 6780 is selected by a panel of Past District Governors. the District Governor then appoints Rotarians within the District to serve on his/her team. However, certain positions of the District Governor's team are elected by the voting representatives of the clubs at our annual business meeting.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7b	Decisions which don't fall within the normal operating procedures of District 6780 are brought forward for a vote at the annual business meeting in the form of resolutions.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 9	Rotary does not have a building in which we meet. The District Governor's team members work from their homes. The business address provided in this document is that of the District Treasurer, Jenifer Campbell.
Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b	Form 990 is prepared by the District Treasurer based on the district's set of financial records. Those records have been made available to all members of the District and reviewed by a Review Committee appointed by the District 6780 Governor (DG). Their review is presented to the DG and District Finance Committee and is presented to the general membership in summary at the Annual Business Meeting. Copies of Form 990 are provided to the DG, District Secretary, District Finance Committee for comments prior to submission. They have also been given an opportunity to ask questions prior to the submission of Form 990 to the IRS.
