	Chamber conducted the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce 28h Annual "Making A Difference" Golf Tournament . The golf event consist of Businesses' Golf Teams competing in a scramble rules format, bringing businesses together along with the community to participate in fun and leisure competitive golf play and interaction. Proceeds go to fund operations at the Chamber as well as scholarships and other community projects.

	On Nov. 7, 2021 , the Chamber and the community of Dayton rallied to provide 120 veterans and their guests a plated dinner, music, , raffle, and swag in recognition of their service to our country. This celebration of our Veterans was held at the Dayton Valley Golf , NSHE Vice Chancellor Caleb Cage was the keynote speaker. Keynote speaker Cage has served 5 years in the U.S. Army with tours of duty completed in Germany and Iraq as an artillery officer. Each Veterans Appreciation Dinner brings businesses & community together to recognize and thank all of our military heroes who have served and defended our country, allowing us to have our freedoms. This event is free to our Veterans and Guest and brings much joy.

	Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce an Economic Development Luncheon in Dayton, NV on Oct. 13, 2021. The event had a panel discussion that included 3 County Leaders which included Jeff Page, Lyon County Manager and Phillip Cowee, with No. NV Development Authority and Andrew Haskin, Lyon CountyDevelopment Director. The panel speakers provided a brief introduction and allowed for questions and answers with the panel & business attendees regarding present and future area development and growth. The business luncheon brought much insight to all attendees and was well received. The consensus was that this platform for discussion should be held in the future.
