Briefly describe the organization’s mission: The Faulkton Volunteer Fire Department provides a host of services to Faulk County and the surrounding communities. The FVFD has a roster of 25 motivated volunteers who freely donate their time and accept a degree of personal risk in order to protect lives and property. We provide primary response to Faulk County on a 911 emergency system. We provide secondary response to surrounding communities when requested. FVFD is a not-for-profit Community Service Corporation.

	Fire/Rescue Operations - The fire department consists of 1 rescue vehicle, 4 grass units, 2 tanker trucks and 1 pumper truck fire squad. These units provide services at all fire and accident calls. Rescue operations include but are not limited to home/business structure fires, grass/cropland fires, equipment fires, vehicle accidents/extractions, and farm accidents. These services are provided year-round to the residents of Faulkton and countywide if assistance is needed. Faulkton Fire Department serves in a county that consists of 2,300 people and 1,000 square miles.

	Training and Community Services - The Faulkton Volunteer Fire department is a large part of the community.
