The magazine performs the important function of keeping alumni, faculty, students and friends of Divine Child High School informed about the school's educational programs, athletic activities, student news, faculty news, alumni updates, the school's needs and other significant matters pertaining to the school that would be of interest to the intended recipients. This is a function desired by the school, as it provides input into the magazine's content and serves as an important link to help maintain interest in the school.

Both Divine Child High School and Divine Child Alumni Association Foundation are tax-exempt organizations described in Code Section 501(c)(3) and are closely aligned with the filing organization. Form 990, Part IX, Line 24e	The organization incurred costs to print and distribute its alumni newsletter to alumni, faculty, students and friend of Divine Child High School as part of its mission. The costs for this newsletter were $16,608. The organization also incurred costs to carry out a welcoming booth for alumni and friends of Divine Child High School at the annual homecoming football game in order to continue to foster relations with the alumni and the school. These costs amounted to $5,115. The total program service cost in the "Other" category was the combination of these two items, or $21,723.
