Explanation:
The letter of exempt for filing electronically was thought to be the year for 2021 so this was mailed in and received by the IRS on 4 14 22. We received the letter mailed by the IRS on 11 18 22. Our organization is all volunteers so the mail is not picked up on a regular basis and with the Thanksgiving holiday it was not given to the treasurer until he got back from Florida at which time it got submitted immediately.
