When the organization was created, it did not host the conference but took over doing so in 2020. As such, we have more expenses and generate more revenue than before due to conference registration. For the 2021-22 fiscal year for our organization, we generated $32,925.02 from conf. registration fees. We had $15,000 provided to our organization as sponsorship through three organizations supporting our efforts. Conference related expenses for the year included payment to the conference site, deposit for the 2023 conference location, A/V support, supplies (hand sanitizer for attendees, binders and print outs of slides, shipping costs for materials to conference site, lanyards and nametags), food from the conference center, and physical space rental. The total expenses for conference related activities came to $49,911.08. Outside of the conference, the organization as a whole had a yearly operating cost of $5,147.22 which included for services such as listserv memberships, website support for collecting membership fees, Zoom monthly memberships for our webinars, SurveyMonkey, annual fee for accreditation through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology for continued education credits for conference and webinar attendees, and website support fees when collecting conference registration fees. There is a net balance of $9,972.72 in the organization account as a result of not hosting the conference in 2020 due to COVID-19 pandemic. This excess will be put towards the 2023 conference which is being held in a new location and therefore more costly conference hosting expenses.

What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? CCSPA is a nonprofit organization with a 3-fold mission of advocacy, education, and collaboration. CCSPA is a group that advocates for licensed mental health clinicians providing services to collegiate student-athletes by keeping interested agencies and administrators informed regarding best practices and standards of care. Our group seeks to be the voice for these providers, educating administrators, invested organizations, and others about the unique nature of this subspecialty of the field of psychology and best practices for provision of mental health performance services. We also aim to provide continuing education to members in order to maintain a standard of excellence within our field. CCSPA provides an avenue for networking and collaboration among members.
