Briefly describe the organization’s mission: To promote and advocate for the civic betterments and social improvements to be derived from the construction of and investment in a proposed 21st century high performance passenger rail network linking Boston, New York City and all of the mid-sized cities of New England (the "North Atlantic Rail Network"). To formulate, develop, coordinate, and advocate for policies, programs, projects, and positions which will assist the Federal government and the local governments of the region comprised of the seven states encompassing the New England - Downstate New York region to implement solutions to transportation and related problems encountered by the general public to such region and to implement the ways and means by which such problems may be addressed by the North Atlantic Rail Network.
