What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Our Hawaii Action is building a movement to create a Hawaii that puts kama'aina and kanaka maoli not big money interests first. Grounded in our past and looking towards our future and rooted in shared values of aloha kuleana and malama pono. We educate organize advocate and engage in elections to expose the corruption and complacency holding our islands back and advance an agenda to make Hawai'i work for all of us not just the wealthy few.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Education awareness and accountability campaign regarding federal Build Back Better legislation. We educated the public about the pending federal legislation to promote action on climate change build a care economy create jobs and lower costs for working families and their federal representatives stances on the legislation. We raised awareness through advertising and organizing and pressured and met with legislators to support passage of legislation.
