DURING THE SPRING SEMESTER, WE SERVED 65 STUDENTS DAILY. DURING THE FALL SEMESTER, 75 STUDENTS WERE SERVED DAILY. THE CENTER PROVIDED DAILY TRANSPORTATION FROM THE SCHOOLS TO THE LEARNING FACILITY. EACH STUDENT SPENT 3 HOURS EACH AFTERNOON AT THE CENTER TOTALING MORE THAN 330 HOURS PER STUDENT DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR. DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR, THE CENTER PROVIDED NEARLY 75 HOURS OF GUIDED PHYSICAL FITNESS ACTIVITIES TO EACH STUDENT, AND MORE THAN 150 HOURS OF ENRICHMENT TO EACH CHILD INCLUDING BIBLE STUDY, 3D PRINTING, ART, MUSIC, BALLET AND ATHLETICS. THE CENTER ALSO PROVIDED MORE THAN 140 HOURS OF HOMEWORK ASSISTANCE, TUTORING AND TEST PREPARATION ASSISTANCE TO EACH STUDENT. THE CENTER SERVED NEARLY 8,000 HELATHY SNACKS DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR. THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, THE CENTER DISTRIBUTED 225 BAGS OF DONATED FOOD, 130 BAGS OF HOUSEHOLD AND PERSONAL ITEMS SUCH AS DETERGENT, SHAMPOO AND TOOTHPASTE TO STUDENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES. OTHER DONATED ITEMS INCLUDED 75 BACKPACKS FILLED WITH SCHOOL SUPPLIES, WINTER COATS, 56 THANKSGIVING DINNERS (INCLUDING TURKEYS), CHRISTMAS TOYS FOR 75 CHILDREN, GROCERIES FOR FAMILIES AT EATER AND BALLET COSTUMES FOR THE GIRLS. OTHER DONATIONS INDLUDED $600 IN GIFT CARDS TO WALMART AND KROGER AND EYEGLASSES FOR STUDENTS WITH VISION NEEDS. THESE ITEMS AND SERVICES WERE DONATED BY LOCAL BUSINESSES, CHURCHES AND INDIVIDUALS. |

HIGH GROWTH CAMP TO GROW GRADE 6-8 STUDENTS PHYSICALLY, MENTALLY, EMOTIONALLY AND SPIRITUALLY. OUR PROGRAM INCLUDED INSTRUCTION ON MATH, READING, MONEY, MANNERS AND ETIQUETTE TO KEEP THEM ACADEMICALLY STRONG THROUGH THE SUMMER AND TO HELP THEM LEARN TO MANAGE THEMSELVES AND THEIR MONEY. INSTRUCTION WAS ALSO GIVEN IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND NUTRITION. BIBLE LESSONS WERE TAUGHT EVERY DAY TO HELP STUDENTS DISCOVER THEIR PURPOSE AND BE INSPIRED BY BIBLE HEROES TO HAVE FAITH THROUGH TIMES OF DIFFICULTY AND TRIAL. |
