    Controlled Entity Form 990-PF, Part VII-A, Line 11 Arca's ownership of the Biome Ventures Holding LLC is not an excess business holding because the LLC is not a "business enterprise" under the definitions for the application of the excess business tax rules. See 26 CFR 53.4943-1; 26 CFR 53.4943-10. The term "business enterprise" does not include a trade or business at least 95% of the gross income of which is derived from passive sources. 26 CFR 53.4943-10(c).
