	Schools for Equity in Education (SEE) served 53 member school districts and 3 associate education organizations during fiscal year 2021-2022. SEE informed member districts of the impact and consequences of existing, proposed, and pending legislation, and disseminated school district and community education concerns to interested persons, groups, and associations concerned with school matters. SEE works for equal access to a quality education for all of Minnesota's students regardless of the property wealth in their local school district, promotes legislation that ensures equitable distribution of school resources and advocates for a property tax system that is fair and provides equal access to referendum and bond revenue for low property wealth school districts, communities and their taxpayers.SEE holds elected state officials accountable for adequate and equitable funding and policy that enables all students to meet state and federal academic standards and allows them to reach their highest potential.The organization educates and engages the parents, grandparents, community members, business leaders and everyone who values K-12 education in Minnesota to stand up and be a voice for our children and their schools.

SEE has analyzed tax positions taken for filing with the Internal Revenue Service and the state jurisdiction where it operates. SEE believes that income tax filing positions will be sustained upon examination and does not anticipate any adjustments that would result in a material adverse effect on SEE's financial condition, results of operations, or cash flows. Accordingly, SEE has not recorded any reserves or related accruals for interest and penalties for uncertain income tax positions at year-end. SEE is subject to routine audits by taxing jurisdictions; however, there are currently no audits in progress for any open tax periods.
