| FORM 990 - ORGANIZATION'S MISSION | GLOBAL INHERITANCE WORKS TO REINVENT ACTIVISM AND EMPOWER INDIVIDUALS TO SEEK A GLOBAL BALANCE. OUR INITIATIVES FOCUS ON THE POWER OF CREATIVITY TO COMMUNICATE AND DRIVE PROGRESSIVE ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIAL CHANGE. GLOBAL INHERITANCE DEVELOPS CAMPAIGNS WHICH CATER SPECIFICALLY TO INDIVIDUAL DEMOGRAPHIC GROUPS, TARGETING THE MESSAGE AND EXPERIENCE TO BE APPROACHABLE FOR VARIOUS SUBCULTURES. |
| FORM 990, PAGE 2, PART III, LINE 4A | DUE TO COVID-19 AND THE PANDEMIC, MANY OF THE ORGANIZATIONS PROGRAMS AND PARTNERSHIPS WERE PUT ON HOLD. EVEN WITH THE EXISTING CHALLENGES, GLOBAL INHERITANCE POOLED ALL OF ITS AVAILABLE RESOURCES TO DEVELOP CAMPAIGNS IN SUPPORT OF THE PLANET'S HEALTH DURING THIS DIFFICULT TIME. GLOBAL INHERITANCE PRODUCED A FREE PLASTIC SURGERY DIGITAL EXPERIENCE ON VALENTINE'S DAY AND EARTH DAY TO HELP PEOPLE SHOW THEIR LOVED ONES HOW TO CUT OUT PLASTIC AND REPLACE IT WITH PLASTIC ALTERNATIVES. THE PROGRAM PROVIDES FREE PERSONALIZED CONSULTATIONS FROM OUR TEAM OF "SURGEONS" (ZERO-WASTE EXPERTS) OUTLINING STEPS THEY CAN TAKE - AND CHOICES THEY CAN MAKE - TO CUT PLASTIC OUT OF THEIR LIVES. ONCE PLASTIC WASTE ENTERS OUR ENVIRONMENT, IT NEVER LEAVES. AS THE POLYMERS BREAK DOWN THEY SPOIL GROUNDWATER, ATTRACT OTHER POLLUTANTS, THREATEN WILDLIFE, DAMAGE THE ECOSYSTEM, POISON THE FOOD CHAIN, COSTS BILLIONS TO ABATE, AND NEGATIVELY IMPACT HUMAN HEALTH AND LONGEVITY. THE PLASTIC SURGERY EXPERIENCE IS SIMILAR TO A DOCTOR'S OFFICE VISIT AND IS SUPPORTED BY A PLASTIC-FREE PHARMACY WHERE PATIENTS FILL THEIR PRESCRIPTIONS TO KICK START THEIR NEW HEALTHIER REGIMEN. RATHER THAN JUST INSPIRING PEOPLE TO LIVE DIFFERENTLY, THIS PROGRAM CAN IMMEDIATELY CHANGE PEOPLE'S HABITS BY PROVIDING PLASTIC ALTERNATIVES THAT CAN BE INTEGRATED INTO THEIR EVERYDAY LIFE. IN SPRING OF 2021, GLOBAL INHERITANCE HOSTED A SPECIAL VERSION OF POSTED STUDIO WITH EVENT PRODUCER GOLDENVOICE. THE ORGANIZATION ASKED THE PUBLIC TO SET THEIR IMAGINATION FOR 100 YEARS IN THE FUTURE, AND DESCRIBE WHAT EARTH DAY LOOKS LIKE USING THEIR CREATIVITY. PEOPLE WERE ASKED TO CREATE A SHAREABLE POSTER CONCEPTS CAPTURING PREDICTIONS ABOUT CLIMATE CHANGE USING WORDS, PICTURES, DRAWINGS, OR DIGITAL TOOLS, WILL CLIMATE CHANGE GET BETTER OR WORSE IN 100 YEARS? ARE WE COUNTING ON TECHNO-FUTURISM TO GEOENGINEER A UTOPIAN TOMORROW, OR WILL STATUS QUO BIAS LEAD TO A DYSTOPIAN CATASTROPHE???ON EARTH DAY, GLOBAL INHERITANCE EXPLORED AND EXPRESSED THE VIEWS PEOPLE HAVE ABOUT CLIMATE CHANGE BY TRANSLATING THE SECTION OF THE POSTER CONCEPTS SUBMITTED INTO POSTER ART DESIGNED BY PROFESSIONAL ART . AS SOCIETY CONFRONTS INCREASING EVIDENCE THAT OUR GLOBAL CLIMATE SYSTEM IN A STATE OF FLUX, HOW WE PROCESS AND UNDERSTAND THE ISSUE AND SOLUTIONS VARIES DRAMATICALLY. WE WERE ABLE TO GAUGE PEOPLE'S FEELING TOWARDS THE FIGHT AGAINST CLIMATE CHANGE - WERE THEY OPTIMISTIC OR PESSIMISTIC ABOUT OUR CHANCES OF ESTABLISHING AN EQUITABLE AND SUSTAINABLE WORLD. GLOBAL INHERITANCE DEVELOPED ITS NEXT GENERATION OF CAN CRUSHERS THAT PREMIERED IN NEW YORK CITY AT THE GOVERNOR'S BALL MUSIC FESTIVAL. THE CAN CRUSHERS PROVIDED AN INTERACTIVE EXPERIENCE TO REDUCE THE AMOUNT OF RECYCLING BAGS NEEDED AT THE FESTIVAL WHILE PROMOTING THE ART OF RECYCLING TO THE 120.000 PEOPLE ATTENDING THE EVENT OVER A 3 DAY PERIOD. IN NOVEMBER, GLOBAL INHERITANCE PRODUCED ITS NEWEST INITIATIVE, TRUTH & DARE, WHICH BRINGS PEOPLE FACE-TO-FACE WITH PLANET EARTH, WHO QUESTIONS THEM ABOUT THEIR PERSONAL ENVIRONMENTAL HABITS, BELIEFS, AND BEHAVIORS. PARTICIPANTS ARE CONNECTED TO A POLYGRAPH MACHINE AND INTERVIEWED BY A PHYSICAL MANIFESTATION OF THE PLANET WHO SITS ACROSS THE TABLE. THE SEQUENCE OF QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS AIM TO HIGHLIGHT HOW OUR BEHAVIORS HAVE A DIRECT EFFECT ON THE ENVIRONMENT AND CAPTURE THE LEVEL OF HONESTY IN THE DISCUSSION ABOUT THOSE BEHAVIORS. ONCE AN INDIVIDUAL COMPLETES THEIR POLYGRAPH TEST, PLANET EARTH DARES THE PERSON TO COMMIT TO A BEHAVIORAL CHANGE - ANYTHING FROM GIVING UP SINGLE- USE PLASTIC FOR A WEEK TO TAKING PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION TO WORK FOR A MONTH. DARES ARE INFORMED BY THE ANSWERS PROVIDED BY THE PARTICIPANTS WHILE CONNECTED TO THE POLYGRAPH. GLOBAL INHERITANCE LAUNCHED THIS INITIATIVE AT THE DESERT DAZE MUSIC FESTIVAL IN NOVEMBER 2021. BEFORE THE END OF THE YEAR, GLOBAL INHERITANCE ORGANIZED A FILM SHOOT AROUND A NEW EXPERIENCE CALLED "WORK OUT YOUR WATTS". SIMILAR TO PLASTIC SURGERY, THE GOAL IS TO PROVIDE A PLATFORM WHERE PEOPLE CAN LEARN FROM EXPERTS IN A FUN/ INTERACTIVE ENVIRONMENT. WORK OUT YOUR WATTS IS AN ENERGY SAVING INITIATIVE DESIGNED TO TEACH PEOPLE THE BEST EXERCISES IN REDUCING YOUR CARBON FOOTPRINT AND IMPROVING PLANETARY HEALTH. AS A RESULT OF COVID-19, COMMUTING AND THE COMMERCIAL SECTOR SHRANK AS MORE PEOPLE WORKED AND STUDIED REMOTELY. FROM INCREASED SCREEN TIME, TO COOKING AT HOME, AROUND-THE-CLOCK HEATERS, AND AIR CONDITIONERS - EXCESSIVE ENERGY IS BEING CONSUMED, AND HOME ENERGY CONSUMPTION HAS SKYROCKETED ADD IN THE ECONOMIC AND ENERGY IMPACTS OF THE WAR IN THE UKRAINE, AND HOUSEHOLDS ARE SEEING THEIR ENERGY BILL CONTINUE TO RISE. WORK OUT YOUR WATTS HELPS PEOPLE RETHINK THEIR ENERGY CONSUMPTION WHILE RECEIVING THE TYPE OF TRAINING NEEDED TO REDUCE THEIR HOME ENERGY BILL. THE WOYW GYM IS FREE TO JOIN AND OFFERS ENERGY SAVING TIPS, WORK OUT VIDEOS AND INFORMATION ON UPCOMING EVENTS. THE FIRST WORKOUT VIDEO IS SCHEDULED TO BE RELEASED IN 2023. |
