Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b	This organization's membership is made up of elegible Veterans of Foreign Wars who served in a war not less than 30 consecutive days or a total of 60 days in the war zone. These members are required to pay annual dues or become a life member for a one dues payment. All procedures and business is approved by Post Members who attend regular meeting at a minimum of monthly. All business rules are regulated by the By-Laws of the U. S. Veterans of Foreign Wars. A quorem of members can vote is based on a minimum of five members physically present.
Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 12c	Monthly Meetings are held where voting on issues, finances and operations of the post. The members can look and review financial records at any time by contacting the Commander and/or Quartermaster. The members are made award of any compliance of policies and operations of the Post.
Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 18	The post has fiends and members who maintain a facebook page that we can make announcements and provide information about events. We can make announcement about meetings and events. We can provide information about members in the hospital or passing away.
Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19	We give access to the membership governing documents, conflict of interest policy and provide access to the membership financial statements for review. We have elected each year three Trustees who perform a quarterly audit of financial records.

Explanation:

The organization submitted the 2020-2021 990 via mail to the IRS. It was accepted by the IRS on Sept. 16, 2021. We received an IRS letter July 21, 2022 Ltr 2694c. This letter stated that our 990 cannot be processed and we must electronically file. We submitted a letter dated September 23, 2022 to the IRS requesting information on the denial of our mailed 990.
