What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Primary Purpose: Organize and conduct cross-country ski trips, clinics and general activities for members and guests. Secondary purpose: Collect and distribute donations for outdoor related activity-related organizations and charities.

Form 990-EZ, Part I, Line 16 Form 990-EZ, Part 1, Line 10- The Nordic Ski Club of Milwaukee made grants totaling $320 to the Friends of Lapham Peak (Wisconsin), a 501(c)(3) organization promoting cross-country skiing. It also made a grant of $100 to the Waukesha, Wisconsin, Elks Lodge #400 to be used to support the Special Olympics. Form 990-EZ, Part 1, Line 16- The Nordic Ski Club of Milwaukee Inc. conducts cross-country ski trips for its members; the bulk of the Club's income is offset by the cost of the trips. In 2021-2022 ski trip expenses exceeded revenues by $1,225. Other expenses included $880 for the Club's share of an event to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Club's founding; $648 for the Club's website/information system; $400 for liability insurance, and $316 for two Zoom Pro accounts. Four volunteers each received $150 for leading overnight Club ski trips, and four volunteers each received $50 for their services to the Club.
