The Metuchen High School Sustainability Initiative Club, led by advisor Ms. Yoko Kato, will work to clear out the weeds currently there and plant only native vegetation chosen to attract and support pollinators and wildlife. This garden will enhance the opportunities for the Sustainability Initiative Club and also will be used to support and enhance the curriculum of the A.P. Environmental Science and Modern Environmental Science classes as well. The garden will also beautify the courtyard space for all of the school community to enjoy. ($1,492) |

This path is open to all grade levels, with each station marked with a sign that includes QR codes. On each sign, one QR code designates a first/second grade activity and another QR code provides information for a third/fourth grade activity. All innovative activities in the 5 stations in the Math Path are aligned with the New Jersey Learning Standards. The following domains are included: Measurement, Geometry, Data Collection and Fractions/Number Sense. Station activities may be changed over time based on students' interests and learning needs.
