What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Social Club Throughout the year, social development seminars/lessons are held to educate the girls on a variety of social graces. The Social Season ends with Ball Week including the Debutante Ball -- Formal presentation of Debutantes followed by dining and dancing. Ring Dance --Social gathering at which Debutantes are presented a signature ring meet their escorts. Rehearsal -- Social Gathering the night before the Ball to practice their presentation figures and dance in the Ballroom.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Social Club Annual Debutante Ball -- $26497.07 Formal presentation of Debutantes followed by dining and dancing. Expenses include meals, flowers, Program, invitations and miscellaneous stationery. Ring Dance $1505.46 Social gathering at which Debutantes are presented a signature ring and meet their escorts. Expenses include food, favors, decor, rings and invitations Rehearsal -- $33.52. Social Gathering the night before the Ball to practice their presentation figures and dance in the Ballroom. Expenses include invitations , postage and decor. Social Development Events, Seminars and Dance Lessons ---$1704.27 instructional activities at which the girls and parents are taught proper etiquette, poise, party planning, etc. Social Events $489.88 Members and guests attended an Invitational Tea at the beginning of the Social Season. Members attended a Mardi Gras Party. Members provided food and entertainment on several occasions for the Residents of a nursing home in Herndon, VA. Young ladies attended social graces classes, dance lessons and participated in cultural events within the Washington. D.C. area. Members and guests attended formal events such as the Debutante Ball, Ring Dance, Rehearsal and afternoon Teas. Agenda was scaled back due to COVID 19 restrictions.
