The APHC is involved in many other aspects of promoting the breed: it promotes regional Appaloosa horse shows around the world, and sponsors a national show, a world show and numerous trail rides.

Part IV, Line 1b: Why is organization an agent, trustee, custodian or other intermediary for contrib Escrow count liability (Part IV)The Club is the trustee of Appaloosa Breeders' Trust Incentive Fund. This program is an investment and incentive program that provides awards based on established criteria with the purpose of promoting Appaloosa stallions. Cash awards are offered to stallions and their offspring that earn points in approved shows. All funds received, less administrative charges, are maintained in a separate and subsequently distributed back to the horse owners, in direct proportion to Club sanctioned points earned. These assets are included on Form 990, Part X.
